Climate

Anand, situated on the Bombay-Ahmedabad main line of the Western Railway, is an educational centre and connected by road and rail with all important towns of Gujarat. The College is situated at a distance of about 5 kilometers to the south of railway station at the Anand Campus of the Gujarat Agricultural University along with the B.A. College of Agriculture, School of Agriculture including Home Science Wing, Gram Sevak Training Centre, Bidi Tobacco Research Station, Extension Education Institute, the Central Poultry Research and Training Centre etc. and in the vicinity of the College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, National Dairy Development Board, Institute of Rural Management and the Amul Dairy. The college is thus ideally situated for study of dairy science subjects and allied sciences and for imparting education in Dairy Technology.
